Eva Paglialonga Novotna, A.P., L.M.T. attended a 4-year Acupuncture Physician program at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She holds a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences. Her journey to become a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner began after living in Asia (Thailand), where Eva discovered the powerful technique of Traditional Thai Massage. Thai massage is a type of body work that is based on the body’s meridians (pathways inside our body). Ever since, she has been involved in the world of massage therapy, studying in Asia at the Medical School of Bangkok, in Europe and America at Educating Hands School of Massage. She is a specialist in several massage modalities including: Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish & Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Oriental Scalp Massage, Traditional Thai & Foot Massage, Hot Stones and recently in Chinese therapeutic massage, Tui Na. As a TCM physician, Eva Paglialonga has received additional training in the treatment of endocrinology, neurology, pain management, digestive disorders, cardiac disorders, ENT, nephrology and gynecology. Her main focus is to help people with pathologies such as stroke, women’s health, cerebral palsy in adults and children among others. Upon the request of Dr. Gaudenzio Garozzo, (Italy), Eva founded the “Nguyen Van Nghi Memorial School of TCM,” out of the desire to share the knowledge of true classical Chinese Medicine, as interpreted by Dr. Van Nghi, and create a bridge between Eastern & Western medicine. The teachings of Dr. Van Nghi, as passed on through his disciples like Dr. Garozzo, have played a significant role in Eva’s practice of Chinese medicine. Dr. Tran Viet Dzung (Vietnam), is another Master teacher who has a big influence on her career development. She is very thankful to both of them for their dedication to Traditional Chinese Medicine and their passion in teaching it to others.
